Registered Midwifery

Stephanie Gabriel, RM, carries hospital privileges at Royal Columbian but currently only offers postpartum care from weeks 1-6 after baby is born. This includes home visits in the early postpartum days and in -clinic visits at White Pine Wellness.
She regards the postpartum period as a powerful and transitional time for families, and feels honoured to accompany families through this deeply meaningful season of life. Patients wishing for care can be referred by their primary pregnancy care provider or can self-refer, either before or shortly after delivery
ADHD Assessments

An ADHD assessment is a comprehensive evaluation performed by a child psychologist to understand a child’s attention, focus, and behavior. Through interviews, questionnaires, and cognitive testing, the assessment helps identify whether ADHD is present and guides personalized recommendations for support at home and school.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

CBT is a structured, time-limited, problem-focused and goal oriented form of psychotherapy. CBT helps people learn to identify, question and change how their thoughts, attitudes and beliefs relate to the emotional and behavioural reactions that cause them difficulty. Currently Lynde Hill, Psychologist, offer CBT in her practise.
Psychoeducational Assessments

Psychoeducational assessments are detailed assessments that help identify an individual's learning style and needs. Oftentimes, parents or educational professionals order psychoeducational assessments on behalf of children after personally witnessing or hearing about their learning difficulties.

Lynde, our Registered Psychologist, will spend on average 12 hours providing these assessments. This typically is broken down into the following steps;
​
- 1 hr parent intake meeting
- 4/5 hours of one on one assessment time
- 6 hours analysis and report preparation
- 1 hour parent assessment feedback meeting.
